The 2023 edition of our traditional Vienna Beach Trophy will take place on August 4th – 5th, 2023. The VBT has become one of the biggest LGBTIQ tournaments in Europe played by beach rules. This year again, the Vienna Beach Trophy is hosted by Aufschlag Wien in cooperation with Vienna’s Queer Melange.

Male and mixed teams consist of two persons, and the women’s competition will be played as Queen of the Court format.

We will be playing on up to nine beach volleyball courts at Beachvolleyballzentrum Schmelz.

All participants of the Vienna Beach Trophy 2023 are automatically on the guest list and will receive a reduced entrance fee (6€ instead of 10€) at the entrance door of the club.

Liability

The participants are responsible for their own health. Please note that the organizers cannot be held liable for any damages or costs in case the tournament has to be cancelled due to official regulations. In this case, of course, the tournament fees will be refunded. Participants will be informed about the applicable safety and hygiene measures in a timely manner.
